for Asia and the Pacific) to give due importance to the geographical/political
balance and social dimension of development which was unanimously adopted in
1974 and subsequently I was named MR. ESCAP.

Recipient of
stamps on the occasion of inauguration of ESCAP’s Sub-Regional Office in Nauru,
South Pacific.

Awarded two
resolutions- The first by acclamation from ESCAP annual Commission session
impending his retirement which among others:
Noted with appreciation the innovative changes he has brought in the
work of the Commission, in particular its secretariat and its programme of work
in an era of rapid social and technological change; And noted also with
appreciation the inspiration and guidance which he has lent to the
establishment of the Asian and Pacific Development Centre in Kuala Lumpur; Acknowledged the support he has given to the
further strengthening of harmonious relations among the Asian states. And
acknowledged further in particular his personal commitment to fostering a
greater role of the Commission in the Pacific sub region and encouraging a
greater sense of involvement of the Pacific island countries in the activities
of the Commission.

The second
was an unanimously adopted resolution in AIPO’s annual session acknowledging
his distinguished services upon retirement.

Indonesian Diplomat.
PRIVATE SECTOR
1.
Served for 5
years as Vice President at IEU Institute of Management and subsequently member of Board of Trustees of University Indonusa Eka
Unggul.
2.
Served as
Vice President of a Non Government Organization to upgrade knowledge of the
people in North Sulawesi on Environment, Democracy and Human Rights,
LSPM-Minaesa.
3.
Served for
14 years as Commissioner of a Beer and Beverage Company (PT Multi Bintang
Indonesia Tbk).
